You would have thought that snow would temporarily stop Solar Power production. However, with the roof angle and slippery surface of Solar PV panels, it doesn’t take long for the snow to slip off and the panels to start generating again – no matter how cold the weather!
[In fact despite the snow and overcast skies all day this system still generated 1.16kWh – enough to keep a computer and lighting powered throughout the day for example. Why is that so significant? Because if you work from home you wouldn’t pay a penny for that electricity AS WELL as getting paid for generating it in the first place! ]
